A Prompting From the Spirit
I was traveling to a business appointment and en route passed the motorway
turn off for the London Temple. I had a strong impression that I should visit
the temple on the way home, but fought it because the return journey would be of
five hours duration, to my home in Devon in the South West of England.
Having completed my business, the feeling came stronger to me that I should turn
off at the slip road which would take me in the direction of the temple. The
impression was so strong that I could not prevent myself from following the
prompting.
On changing, I walked into the chapel area and was immediately approached by a
temple worker with a relieved look on his face. I was not told the full
circumstances, but he explained that, had I not turned up, that the session
would have been cancelled because of the absence of a male for the witness
couple.
As I looked around, I noticed around a dozen sisters and reflected that thirteen
spirits beyond the veil may have been disappointed and their eternal progress
held back. I felt somewhat humbled and ashamed of my initial reluctance. (Tom)

Temple Attendance
Last night I was told by a full time missionary in my ward, that his parents had
written to him and told him of the events that happened to his neighbors back
home.
The parents had left their children with the baby sitter, and gone to the temple
for one session, which is a six hour drive. While there the mother had a feeling
that something was wrong, and told the patriarch that she felt she should call
home, or go home straight away. The patriarch told her that everything would be
fine, and so they stayed at the temple.
Back home at the same time the baby sitter noticed that the two year old had
gone missing. Worried she and the other children all went out to look for him. A
while later after no joy, they returned home, and the baby sitter was about to
call the temple and the police, when a lady came to the front door, with the
toddler holding her hand! The lady wrote her name on a piece of paper, so that
the parents would know who had returned the boy when they got home.
Later in the day the parents returned, the baby sitter told the parents what had
happened. When they looked at the piece of paper, the name that
was written on the paper was the same name as the parents had taken to the
temple that day to do work for! (Emma)
